A woman receiving a cosmetic filler injection in her lip from a healthcare professional.

Injectable fillers are used to restore volume in the face. Whether the loss of volume is due to genetics, lifestyle, aging, or a combination of these factors, filler can be used to restore volume, lift and contour facial features, smooth wrinkles, and give you a youthful glow. These enhancements are often subtle yet transformative. The fillers we use are made from hyaluronic acid and are reversible. Our goal at Sol Wellness and Aesthetics is to leave you looking and feeling rested and revitalized. During your consultation, our providers will assess your facial structure and recommend the best fillers to help you achieve a natural, refreshed look.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • The fillers we use are made from hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the body that keeps the skin plump and youthful.

Over time, our natural facial tissue such as, fat, muscle, and bone atrophy and cause the skin to hollow and sag. Fillers can plump and replace soft-tissue volume loss, hydrate and define the lips, raise scar depressions, and volumize creases and folds of the face. Our carefully selected HA fillers deliver immediate and long-lasting results.

  • Because everyone’s needs are different, and with such a wide variety of treatments involving filler, a personal consultation is the best way to establish cost. With that in mind, filler treatments start at $600. This cost not only reflects the price of the product, but also the skill, knowledge and expertise of the injector.

  • The results of filler are visible immediately after treatment. Results look good immediately, but will take 2 weeks to fully settle in. The healing process involves swelling for about 2–7 days, depending on the amount injected, the area injected, and how your body reacts to the procedure. The product then settles and integrates, and you’ll see your final results about 2–3 weeks after injections.

  • Longevity of filler differs for each individual and for each type of treatment. Because the product is being injected into the body, some bodies may metabolize it faster than others. Below is the average longevity based on treatment are:

    • Cheek Filler: 9–18 months

    • Under Eye Filler: 12–18 months

    • Lip filler: 6–12 months

    • Lower Face Filler: 9–18 months

    • Jawline Filler: 9–18 months

    • Nasolabial Fold (Smile/Laugh Lines) Filler: 9-12 months

    • Temple Filler: 9–12 months

    • Neckline/Tech-Neck Filler: 6–9 months

  • Dermal fillers are a temporary solution so treatments will need to be administered on a recurring basis. Once the foundation is built after the first treatment, subsequent treatments typically require less product to maintain results. On average, patients receive fillers once or twice a year.

  • Swelling and mild bruising are normal after filler injection. Please give yourself a minimum of 2 weeks before any big events.
